So I’ve been planning on doing this photo shoot since Matthew was about 2 weeks old. Being a January baby I had grand plans to do this outside, in some nice morning sun, but due to continuous rain on and off over the Christmas and New Year period, I came up with a backup plan. I brought some vinyl wooden flooring, threw up a backdrop and we did the shoot in the garage.

Matthew was so so about the cake. It was interesting for all of 5 seconds, but the garage door was open and it was raining outside, so naturally that was more interesting. So Rob had to help him see what the cake was all about. Still only held his interest for a little bit, but managed to get some good photos out of it. Even one of him playing in the driveway in the rain.

I’ve finished processing the images, so thought I’d share some of my favourites. They are all my favourites, but here are some of the extra favourites.
